Abstract:
The author analyses, first, the conceptual background within which the
concessions directive 2014/23/EU was implemented in Romania, making a brief
historical overview. The Author points out the previous regime, characterized by the
existence of a single legislative instrument that governed public sector contracts, public service contracts and concession contracts. The last part of the contribution is dedicated to the description of the transposition of the directive 201/23/EU in Romania, which took place with Law n. 100/2016.
